Dr. Scroggins owns and operates Plastic Surgery of Greater Washington. A 1980 graduate of the University of Missouri, Kansas City. Dr. Scroggins completed a 5 year general surgery residency at Howard University Hospital along with a 1 year head & neck fellowship at District of Columbia General Hospital. He completed his plastic surgery residency at St. Louis University in 1988 and then completed a microsurgery fellowship in Washington along with a cosmetic fellowship in Miami, Florida in 1988. For the last 5 years he has been chief of Plastic Surgery at Prince George's Hospital Center.

Plastic Surgery of Greater Washington was founded in 1989 by Carlton H. Scroggins, M.D. Initially focusing on trauma and reconstructive surgery, the practice has developed over 10 years into the busiest cosmetic surgery practices in the region, specializing in cosmetic breast surgery and body contouring.
